Jared Kushner Is Getting Eviscerated for Calling Trump's Pandemic Response 'a Great Success Story'
Fox News

The global pandemic has caused a national health crisis in the United States, infecting over one million Americans, killing thousands, and unemploying millions more.

Much of the blame rests on President Donald Trump, not for the virus itself, but for his administration's slowed response to it.

The President repeatedly dismissed the threat of the virus in its early stages. His administration botched the initial rollout of testing kits, delaying accurate diagnoses by weeks. He denied the need for vital medical equipment, leaving states to fend for themselves. The President's petty Twitter fights with governors who've issued stay-at-home orders have encouraged their constituents to flout safety recommendations issued by health experts.

Even now, the President is more concerned with the political leanings of each state receiving aid than protecting Americans.

So, naturally, the Trump administration is saying his response is perfect.

The latest person to make this incomprehensible assertion is the President's son-in-law and senior advisor, Jared Kushner, who called the response a "great success story."

Watch below.

Kushner falsely said:

"We're on the other side of the medical aspect of this, and I think we've achieved all the different milestones that are needed. So the federal government rose to the challenge and this is a great success story, and I think that's really what needs to be told."

The medical aspect of this is far from over. While Jared repeated Trump's talking point that the U.S. has tested more than anyone in the world, he omitted that the U.S. isn't even close to testing enough of its citizens to get an accurate per-capita count of viral infections in relation to the population.

As for the federal response being a success story, the American people appear to disagree. A new Emerson College poll found that 39 percent of Americans approve of Trump's response to the virus—a 10 point decline from last month.

With nearly 60 thousand Americans dead in just two months, people were aghast that Jared could call this a success story.

Is Jared lying...or just plain delusional?
