After the arrests of several associates of President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, the press asked the President if he was concerned.
Mired in an impeachment inquiry of his own which includes actions taken by his personal lawyer on his behalf, concerns would be warranted. However the President reaffirmed his commitment to Giuliani.
In a response full of accolades, Trump stated:
"I think Rudy is a great gentleman. He’s been a great crime fighter. He looks for corruption wherever he goes."
Trump added:
"He was the greatest mayor in the history of New York and he’s been one of the greatest crime fighters and corruption fighters."

However rather than concur with the President's assessment of Giuliani as the greatest New York city mayor of all time, people found the set up too hard to resist. Specifically this line;
"He looks for corruption wherever he goes."
