Police are actively searching for a man named Dustin Hamilton, who stole guns from his parents home in San Jose and left behind a 20 page manifesto threatening to kill San Francisco citizens and members of law enforcement, according to NBC Bay Area.
The family has told authorities that their estranged son took a shotgun and .357 Magnum revolver.
Both the San Jose Police Department and San Francisco Police Department are actively looking for the 44-year-old.
He Is a Diagnosed Schizophrenic
According to the Sacramento Bee, Hamilton is a diagnosed schizophrenic and is currently off his medicine.
Police in San Jose have a felony arrest warrant for Burglary, Threats & Firearms Possession. Hamilton also has two outstanding felony warrants in San Francisco for assault and vandalism.
On Thursday afternoon, Hamilton’s name was trending on Facebook. A number of Twitter users have also taken to social media to spread his photo and warn the public.

He Has Reportedly Been Homeless for Ten Years
KRON4’s Rob Fladeboe reports that Hamilton has a long history of drug use and had been homeless for the last ten years.
Officials say he is known to spend time in the areas of Bryant and Delancy streets in San Francisco.
He is 6 feet tall, and around 145 pounds, with brown eyes. Hamilton reportedly said he would commit a shooting on Wednesday; however, that did not occur.
