Elizabeth Warren Just Blasted the Trump Administration, and Democrats Have a New Slogan

Credit: CNN

Elizabeth Warren went on CNN Wednesday to respond to the news that Mick Mulvaney, Trump's Budget Director and interim director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which Warren created, admitted that when he was in Congress, he would only meet with lobbyists who paid him.

Warren did not mince words, saying:

"Most corrupt administration ever."

Which repeats a line she used in a tweet hours earlier:

In the interview, she said this about Mulvaney:

"He's so corrupt that he was willing to just lay it all out there in front of everyone. He said, 'I am a government official who pays attention to those who pay me.' If that's not corruption, I don't know what the definition of corruption is."

She went on:

"That's just another way of saying this joint runs great for those who can hire armies of lobbyists and lawyers and have them make big campaign contributions but not here for real people."

Twitter could not agree more:

And cheered on the Senator for taking them on:

Adam saw it as a rallying cry for November:

Others saw it as a call for impeachment of the president.

While others questioned why the GOP seemed complicit.
