President Joe Biden trolled Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert during a speech at a wind power manufacturing plant in Albuquerque, highlighting her opposition to a bill that is set to bring hundreds of jobs to her district in Colorado.

The specific legislation in question is the Democratic-led Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which allocated nearly $400 billion to address climate change. Biden credited provisions in this act for new investments in clean energy production at Arcosa Wind Towers, emphasizing the broader impact on clean energy manufacturing across various communities, including rural areas.

Biden drew attention to the wind tower manufacturing plant in Pueblo, Colorado, operated by CS Wind, a South Korea-based company. He mocked Boebert as the "very quiet Republican lady" representing the district where the plant is located. Boebert's district includes Pueblo, and the expansion of the CS Wind facility is set to bring 850 new jobs to the area by 2026.

Highlighting the irony, Biden noted that Boebert, along with other Republicans, had voted against the bill that contributed to the expansion of clean energy manufacturing and job creation in her own district.

You can hear what he said in the video below.

He said:

"What Arcosa is doing here is part of a much broader clean energy manufacturing [revival]. "
"It's going to happen in big cities and rural communities, as well, like in Colorado, where CS Wind broke ground on what will be the world's largest wind tower manufacturing plant."
“Coincidentally, CS Wind is Congresswoman Lauren Boebert — you know, the very quiet Republican lady? — it’s in her district."
“Who, along with every other Republican, voted against this bill. And it’s making all this possible. And she railed against its passage. But, that’s OK, she’s welcoming it now.”

Many concurred with the President's remarks and further criticized Boebert.

Boebert had heckled Biden during a State of the Union address and her stance on various legislative initiatives has drawn attention for her overt MAGA and QAnon beliefs.

In an apparent response to the President's, Boebert took to social media to criticize Biden and make unproven allegations about his family's financial connections.

Despite the House GOP's inability to produce any hard evidence, they have signaled their intention to move forward with an impeachment inquiry this Fall.

Boebert faced criticism earlier for opposing the Biden administration's infrastructure package while gloating about federal spending in her district.

She has long attacked Biden's job performance and spread conspiracy theories about his mental health and physical fitness, using them to stoke GOP support for impeaching him.
