Far-right Fox News host Tucker Carlson has made a name for himself by employing and amplifying white supremacists, broadcasting outright lies, and encouraging harassment on his primetime opinion show watched by millions of viewers.

In his Tuesday night show, Carlson took aim at the U.S. military, claiming pregnant service members weaken its ability to protect the United States.

Watch below.

Carlson said:

"Pregnant women are gonna fight our wars. It's a mockery of the U.S. military, while China's military becomes more masculine, as it's assembled the world's largest Navy, our military needs to become—as Joe Biden says—more feminine, whatever that means since men and women no longer exist."

After sensationalizing gender, he continued:

"The bottom line is it's out of control, and the Pentagon's going along with this. Again, this is a mockery of the U.S. military and its core mission, which is winning wars."

Carlson's screed generated near-unanimous opposition, including from senior Military officials.

The current Command Senior Enlisted Leader for the U.S. Space Force, Scott Stalker, issued his rebuke in a video, dismissing Carlson's rant as "Drama TV."

Stalker said in part:

"I don't watch a lot of drama TV. I understand some comments were made yesterday and I watched the clip that Mr. Carlson produced as he referred to pregnant women in the military. I'll remind everyone that his opinion, which he has a right to, is based off of actually zero days of service in the armed forces."

He went on to emphasize that policies on service members were made under the advice of medical experts.

Stalker wasn't the only service member to push back against Carlson.

Others spoke out as well.

Carlson isn't expected to withdraw his assertion.
