Kayleigh Just Tried to Shame Biden for Not Holding a Press Conference—It Did Not Go Well
Former President Donald Trump's White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany became infamous across the United States for her frequent lies on Trump's behalf, gleefully broadcasting them from the White House briefing room.
Since her tenure at the White House ended, McEnany took a job as a commentator for the conservative Fox News network, where she continues the unenviable task of defending Trump's policies while slamming President Joe Biden.
On Thursday morning—hours before Biden signed the American Rescue Plan into law—McEnany criticized him on Twitter for not holding a press conference in his first 50 days in office.

Since his inauguration, Biden has held a nationally televised town hall and his administration continues to hold daily White House press briefings, reinstating the tradition after Trump's administration did away with them—going nearly a year without one.
During his tenure as President, McEnany and her predecessors insisted that daily briefings were unnecessary, since then-President Trump would often speak to reporters off-the-cuff ahead of boarding Marine One. When McEnany did hold press briefings, she used them to berate reporters.
McEnany demanded "transparency" in Thursday's tweet despite frequently defending Trump's insistence on concealing his financial documents from the public, as well as a healthcare plan he eternally promised would arrive in two weeks.
People weren't buying McEnany's criticism.
