Ever since President Donald Trump's Education Secretary,  Betsy DeVos, released her budget outlining major cuts to services for the disabled, special education and completely defunding Special Olympics, people expressed outrage.

But in a bizarre series of events,  Trump and DeVos appeared to be pointing fingers at each other over whose idea the cuts were.

Representative Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) tore into Education Secretary Betsy DeVos after DeVos proposed budget cuts to programs including the Special Olympics and others that support low-income students.

"The three education budgets from this administration have proposed the largest cuts to education funding in four decades. That's since the department was created in 1979," said DeLauro, who chairs the Appropriations Committee's Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Subcommittee, at a hearing on DeVos’s proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
