Former President Donald Trump lashed out at his former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany after she saw cracks in his support based on New Hampshire exit polls and said that President Joe Biden had had a "good night" in the state.

Earlier, McEnany made the following observation about the New Hampshire primary contest on Fox News:

"This was actually a fairly good night for Joe Biden. When you look at our voter analysis, only 10% said I would not vote for Joe Biden if he’s the nominee."
"He won a plurality voters who said he was too old. He won a majority of voters who were upset about the Gaza war."
"So, the divides in the Democratic Party, this is a small sample size, perhaps aren’t as stark as one would think. But when you look at the Republican Party, 7 in 10 Nikki Haley voters said I would not vote for Trump. There was the Des Moines Register Poll, 43% said no I would not vote for Trump."
"If I am Trump, I sit back and I exclusively focus on the general election, I take the posture of a presumptive nominee, I focus on uniting the party and winning the independents which Nikki Haley won 55 to 39. That’s what I would do."

You can hear what she said in the video below.

Her statements clearly angered the former President, who attacked her in a post on his far-right social media network Truth Social, urging her to "save" her "advice" for his opponent, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, writing:

I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox. Just had a GIANT VICTORY over a badly failing candidate, ‘Birdbrain,’ and she’s telling me what I can do better. Save your advice for Nikki!”

But it was evident that McEnany's analysis had struck a chord with social media users who correctly pointed out that it would annoy the thin-skinned Trump.

This marks another instance of Trump criticizing McEnany, who had previously defended him and actively promoted his unfounded claims of voter fraud following Biden's 2020 election win.

In May of last year, when McEnany provided polling data suggesting that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was gaining ground on Trump in the primary, the former President lashed out at his ex-spokesperson.

Trump wrote at the time that "Kayleigh ‘Milktoast’ McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on Fox News," adding that "The RINOS & Globalists can have her."
