Marco Rubio Tried to Slam Democratic Debate With 'Reefer for Everyone!' Declaration and It Totally Backfired
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) took a break from tweeting bible verses to chastise the performances of Democratic presidential candidates in Tuesday night's debate.
It didn't go as well as he'd hoped.
Rubio warned his followers that Democrats would push for the government to control the internet, energy, schools and health care, but it was his last sentence that stood out.

Rubio ended with:
"And as a bonus, reefer for everyone!"
While at least two candidates—Senators Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)—discussed the need to legalize marijuana at last night's debate (other candidates support its legalization as well), their calls to legalize were rooted more in ending the incarceration of hundreds of thousands of nonviolent offenders—not getting high.

Rubio's awkward tweet comes just days after another tweet of his that made waves.
The Senator likely broke Florida law on Monday when he tweeted a video of himself railing against Democratic Socialism...while driving.
