People Can't Stop Mocking Trump After Poll Notorious for Being His Favorite Shows Biden Up 12 Points
President Donald Trump makes it very clear he has favorites. Those favored few all share one thing in common—adulation for Donald Trump.
Fox News is his favorite channel until they criticize him, then it's OANN. He prefers publications like The Daily Caller over The Washington Post and the states of Florida and Georgia over California and New York.
And his favorite pollster has long been Rasmussen Reports.
While many of his followers claim polls don't matter in light of the results of the 2016 election, President Trump often touts any favorable poll numbers. The polls he shares most often come from the conservative leaning Rasmussen organization.
While no other poll showed the POTUS getting even a 50% approval rating, Rasmussen showed him getting as high as the mid 50s on occasion.
So those familiar with the President's preferences and his obsession with personal popularity found a bit of glee over Rasmussen's latest national polling numbers for the 2020 presidential election. Rather than a slim margin, Rasmussen put former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) 12 points ahead of Trump and his running mate, Mike Pence.
Rasmussen shared their updated numbers at noon on Wednesday.

On their website, the Rasmussen team wrote:
"President Trump's debate performance followed by his [virus] diagnosis appear to be digging an even deeper hole for him this week. Democrat Joe Biden now has a 12-point lead over the President in Rasmussen Reports' weekly White House Watch survey."
They added what widened the gap prior to the latest drop for Trump.
"Last week, following Trump's announcement that he was nominating federal Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court, Biden moved from a narrow one-point lead to eight points ahead."
"The race had narrowed over the previous three weeks."
"Biden has now cleared the 50% mark for two weeks in a row, while Trump has fallen to his lowest level of support since the first week of White House Watch in early July."
It didn't take long for the President's critics to notice.
Trump's favorite pollster, Rasmussen- who he bragged had his approval up to 52 last week - has his approval continuing to fall, today hitting 44, the lowest level in their poll since early July.

If @realDonaldTrump's favorite, Rasmussen, has him down 12 pts to Biden in a fresh poll, imagine how bad the #'s really are. As I have said I think he could receive less popular vote than Walter Mondale (40.6%) and perhaps if his manic behavior continues, Goldwater level of 38%.

Rasmussen noted their increased popularity online and chided those sharing their poll for taking it as a sign of an assured victory.

However they were quickly reminded that there were extreme circumstances in 2016 that are unlikely to impact the Biden/Harris campaign in 2020.
So it's possible Biden's lead could drop by from 12 points to 7 points by Election Day if the FBI announces they are re-opening their investigation into his use of a private email server?
