Republican Geoff Duncan—former lieutenant governor of Georgia and current CNN commentator—compared the GOP nominating Donald Trump for President a second time to "peeing in your pants" and his analogy made a lot of sense to people.

Duncan said the GOP needed a candidate "that's got the whole package" and Trump is very much not that candidate.

He said:

"Nominating Donald Trump for the Republican party is a lot like peeing in your pants: It’s going to feel good for a couple seconds, but then you wake up and you realize the realities of what you just did."

He predicted the party's loss in the general election if Trump wins the primary:

"We’re going to get beat in the general because we picked the wrong candidate."
"We couldn’t get out of our own way."

A lot of people seemed to appreciate Duncan's analogy.

Several people compared nominating Trump to a different bodily function, though.

While Trump and his MAGA minions still seems to think he is the best thing since sliced bread, it is becoming increasingly clear not everyone in his party feels the same.

He still has plenty of over zealous followers who continue to sing his praises and will certainly vote for him in the primary, but will they be enough to win him the nomination, let alone the presidency?

Trump lost the presidential popular vote in both 2016 and 2020. His 2016 presidential win was only due to gaining the electoral votes from a few key states.

His ability to do that again is questionable at best.
