Rudy Giuliani Called Out for Misquoting 'My Cousin Vinny' During Bizarre Election Conspiracy Press Conference
C-SPAN

President Donald Trump's bumbling personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, received much unwanted attention in the past few weeks after beclowning himself with Borat and holding a press conference at the Four Seasons Total Landscaping Company (instead of the luxury hotel).

Giuliani held another press conference on Thursday where he continued to repeat the President's lies about widespread voter fraud tipping the 2020 election to President-elect Joe Biden.

While this press conference was, thankfully, at the correct venue, Giuliani still generated mockery with his attempts to justify Trump's quixotic effort to secure a second term.

One moment stood out in particular.

Watch below.

Giuliani was asserting the lie that Republican election observers weren't in close enough proximity to the counting of votes in election facilities to properly monitor the proceedings.

Reenacting a scene from the 1992 comedy My Cousin Vinny—in which Joe Pesci's character tests the vision of a witness by holding up two fingers—Giuliani said:

"Did you all watch My Cousin Vinny? You know the movie? It's one of my favorite law movies, cause he comes from Brooklyn. And when the nice lady who said she saw, and then he says to her, 'How many fingers do I got up?' [holds up two fingers] and she says, 'Uh, three' cause she was too far away to see it was only two. These people were further away than My Cousin Vinny was from the witness."

People pointed out that this moment in the movie to test the witness' glasses, not to test her distant vision. She also responded that Pesci was holding up four fingers.

But mostly, people mocked the absurdity of the entire situation.

Despite Giuliani's best efforts, President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be inaugurated on January 20th.
