After his lies about the validity of the 2020 election prompted a violent siege of the United States Capitol, former President Donald Trump was banned from multiple social media outlets, including his infamous Twitter account.

That hasn't stopped the former President from continuing to broadcast his conspiracy theories, insults, and off-the-cuff ramblings to anyone who will listen.

Such was the case on Sunday, when Trump weighed in on the scandal surrounding the Kentucky Derby.

Medina Spirit, the winning horse, recently tested positive for the anti-inflammatory drug betamethasone. A second test, called a "split sample," will be conducted before the horse's win can be thrown out.

The former President claimed in a recent blog post that the scandal is a reflection of America's supposed downfall, writing:

"So now even our Kentucky Derby winner, Medina Spirit, is a junky. This is emblematic of what is happening to our Country. The whole world is laughing at us as we go to hell on our Borders, our fake Presidential Election, and everywhere else!"

Trump called Medina Spirit a "junky" [sic] and claimed the "whole world is laughing at us."

In reality, more people were laughing at the former President's rant.

People were amazed the statement wasn't parody.

Ironically enough, Medina Spirit's trainer, Bob Baffert—who denies any wrongdoing—took a page from Trump's book while defending the horse. He said the scandal was due to "cancel culture."
