Joe Scarborough Warns GOP Senator Who Called Pelosi 'Dumb' at Trump Rally: 'That's Your Moment When You Die'
President Donald Trump held a rally in Monroe, Louisiana on Wednesday night where he invited Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) to the podium for a few words.
Kennedy proceeded to rail against Democrats, especially House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), whose move to launch impeachment proceedings against Trump has sent Republicans into attack mode in an effort to discredit the investigation.
Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) channeled his outrage over the death of a French bulldog on a United Airlines flight this week and announced he will introduce legislation which would prohibit airlines from placing animals in overhead bins––an arrangement that a flight attendant had reportedly insisted upon.
"I will be filing a bill tomorrow that will prohibit airlines from putting animals in overhead bins," the senator wrote in a message to his Twitter followers.
Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) said he opposed President Donald Trump's proposed military parade during an interview with MSNBC. Kennedy joins a growing chorus of lawmakers who've issued bipartisan rebukes of the president's proposal, which he reportedly suggested to officials after witnessing Bastille Day celebrations in France. The White House and the Pentagon have confirmed the president directed officials to plan such a parade.
“I think confidence is silent and insecurity is loud,” Kennedy told reporters. “America is the most powerful country in all of human history; you don’t need to show it off.”
