Chuck Woolery Dragged After He Seemed to Side With Hitler in Bonkers Memorial Day Tweet

While most Americans were commemorating those who died in battle this past weekend, former game show host and conservative media personality Chuck Woolery was railing against critical race theory in a bizarre tweet.

In reality, the theory acknowledges systemic forms of racism embedded in countless facets of daily American life—an acknowledgment which allows for more productive dialogue regarding issues of race in the United States. But many Republicans consider the theory anti-American for its honesty.

For over a year, Republican lawmakers across the country—following former President Donald Trump's lead—have sought to ban comprehensive history curricula like critical race theory from being taught in American schools and workplace trainings. Most recently, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) called critical race texts like The 1619 Project"divisive nonsense" in a letter to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, signed by three dozen of McConnell's Republican colleagues.

Bills banning critical race theory and other comprehensive teachings of America's racial history have sprouted up in Texas, Oklahoma, Idaho, Louisiana, and other states.

In his tweet, Woolery appeared to praise the genocidal fascist Adolf Hitler for supposedly cracking down on critical race theory.

A primary reason for the Frankfurt School's forced closure was due to its critical studies on the violent Nazi ideology and its anti-intellectual movement. The rest of Woolery's claims are...questionable to say the least.

The former Wheel of Fortune host saw his fortunes turn in the court of public opinion.

They proceeded to roast Woolery in their responses.

Woolery later lamented that "it's like every liberal Marxist comes out of the woodwork to take their shot" when he trends on Twitter.
