Thanks to the efforts of Republican politicians, it is now legal for children under 14 to operate firearms in Iowa, for people listed on terror watch lists to buy guns, for students on college campuses in Texas to brings guns to class, and to openly carry a firearm in nearly every state. There are now more guns than people in the U.S., which has a higher rate of gun ownership than any other country in the world. But there’s one place Republican leaders don’t want guns: at the Republican National Convention in Ohio.
