California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom thanked President Donald Trump on Thursday for securing a FEMA grant for Newsom's state as multiple wildfires continued to rage.

It wasn't long, however, until the bad blood between the two reignited, thanks to Donald Trump's Twitter feed. Again falsely claiming that California's wildfires were due to a lack of maintenance, Trump threatened to revoke federal aid from California in an unhinged Twitter thread.

Last week, 16-year-old environmental activist Greta Thunberg gave a copy of The United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 2019 report to U.S. lawmakers as part of her congressional testimony on the climate crisis.

However, Pastor Robert Jeffress—an Evangelical Christian minister and vehement supporter of President Donald Trump—proclaimed that perhaps Thunberg should consult quite a different document.

Democrats vying for the 2020 presidential nomination are racing to build a robust, effective plan against the global climate crisis to present to the electorate. This determination to do something was on full display at a seven hour CNN town hall focused on the environment, featuring the 10 candidates who qualified for the upcoming September debates.

Though it's difficult to stand out in a field of 10 people and in seven hours of television, Warren managed to do so, and she did it by proving an important point to CNN's Chris Cuomo.

Once again, Conservatives attempted to come for Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). Once again, she beat them at their own game.

A recent ad from MRCTV entitled More Shallow Thoughts with AOC uses a clip from an Instagram Live video in which she explains that the eventual monetary damage wreaked by an unaddressed climate crisis—such as mass flooding and worldwide food shortage—would be far greater than the cost of investing in putting a stop to it.

The United Nations Climate Action Summit is slated to begin September 23, 2019.  One attendee, Greta Thunberg, arrived in New York harbor Wednesday via a zero-emissions yacht.

Thunberg spoke before the 2018 UN climate summit and returned to speak again. As the summit takes place in New York at United Nations headquarters, people wondered if Thunberg would try to speak to President Donald Trump.
