1. She met her husband at Stetson University
In addition to playing baseball for three years at Stetson, Kluber met his wife Amanda in college. The two got married in 2010, and since then they've had two children together
2. She and Corey run a charity called "Kluber's Kids"
During every Wednesday home game for the Cleveland Indians, the Klubers host a child from the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. According to the Tribe's official web site, the child and his or her family get to watch batting practice on the field. The child also takes home a Kluber jersey and gets the opportunity watch the game that night from the Club Lounge. Sometimes the guests even get to watch Corey throw a bullpen session from the outfield!
The couple has even gone so far as to give playoff tickets to children. When the Indians made it to the World Series in 2016, the players each received two tickets. Corey and Amanda gave theirs to a young girl named Aly, who they met at University Hospital's Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
3. She's a huge Game of Thrones fan
Okay, this isn't necessarily specific to Amanda. Both the Klubers are hooked on the popular TV show; they do their best to set aside some time every Sunday after their girls go to sleep. Sometimes the two even watch it with teammate Lonnie Chisenhall (who has also read all the books), and his wife, Meredith Chisenhall.
