Fox Host Rips 'Insane' Trump For Going After Kayleigh McEnany In Petty Post
Brian Kilmeade called Trump 'insane' for ripping Kayleigh McEnany for Ron DeSantis poll report during her Fox hosting duties.
Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade berated former Republican President Donald Trump and called him "insane" for turning on his former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
"She was one of the best press secretaries ever," Kilmeade said of his Fox colleague who is now the host of Outnumbered.
On his conservative Truth Social media platform, Trump–who is going head to head with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination–slammed McEnany after she cited the Republican primary poll numbers during her appearance on Fox News which he claimed were false.
McEnany said Trump was 25 points ahead of his GOP opponent.
Trump set the record straight by saying he was further in the lead and wanted to make sure his supporters were better informed.
According to the Morning Consult, Trump posted a 34-point lead with 56% of GOP primary voters saying they would cast their ballot for Trump while 22% said they would vote for DeSantis following his May 24 announcement to officially run for President.
McEnany was likely referring to the YouGov result posted by FiveThirtyEight, saying Trump led by 25 points–with GOP voters saying 52% would vote for Trump and 27% planning to vote for DeSantis.

Trump turned on his former loyal Press Secretary by discrediting her claim, corrected her with the higher number results, and then attacked McEnany by calling her, milquetoast.
However, he misspelled the term describing a feeble or timid person and wrote, "Milktoast."nnn,
“Kayleigh ‘Milktoast’ McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on FoxNews."
"I am 34 points up on DeSanctimonious, not 25 up. While 25 is great, it’s not 34.”
The twice-impeached former President continued:
“She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll."
"The RINOS & Globalists can have her. FoxNews should only use REAL Stars!!!”

Kilmeade and his Fox & Friends co-hosts weighed in on DeSantis' jabs at Trump made during his speech.
“Three shots at common weaknesses of the president."
The Fox co-host said of Trump:
“They say he flies off the handle."
"For example, attacking Kayleigh McEnany is insane. She was o,ne of the best press secretaries ever."
"Dana Perino, as Ari Fleischer watching to say she was fantastic, but she’s an analyst now. She doesn’t work for any campaign.”
McEnany was one of Trump's staunchest supporters as his Press Secretary, who served from April 2020 to January 2021.
Despite pledging to an Associated Press reporter at her first press briefing on May 1, 2020, that she would never lie, McEnany has gone on to disseminate many of Trump's falsehoods.
Examples include misinformation regarding the Mueller Report as part of the Russian probe investigation in the 2016 Presidential election, coronavirus information, and unsubstantiated claims of a rigged 2020 Presidential election.
