In the final weeks of former President Donald Trump's tenure in the White House, right-wing media outlets largely embraced his lies that the 2020 election was "stolen" by Democrats engaging in widespread election fraud.
Outlets like Fox News and Newsmax backed down from these claims after being slapped with billion dollar defamation lawsuits from elections software companies the networks smeared.
But even though these networks are as far-right as they come, another fringe Republican outlet says they're too far left.
A recent segment on the conspiracy theorist media outlet One America News (OAN) claimed Fox News had an "anti-Trump" agenda and accused Newsmax of throwing Trump "under the bus."
Watch below.
I promise you, this is the craziest, most comical ‘news’ story you will ever see. OAN, after brushing off Fox News… https://t.co/0X5YdKIO2v— Ron Filipkowski (@Ron Filipkowski) 1621721551.0
The segment says of Fox News:
"As we saw during this last election, Fox jumped ship and headed for waters that were a lot darker blue."
And of the far-right Newsmax:
"Newsmax threw Trump under the bus and buckled almost immediately, declaring Biden the next President, despite all the evidence of massive fraud and without waiting for the contested battleground states to finish their investigation."
Of course, there is no evidence of "massive fraud" and the 2020 election has been litigated, investigated, and scrutinized by every entity from independent auditors to the Supreme Court. These have only confirmed President Joe Biden's victory.
People were amazed to see some of the most conservative media outlets in the United States be slammed as left-leaning by OAN for not embracing delusion.
