MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace left the Republican party after the rise of former President Donald Trump, eventually becoming one of the party's foremost critics just two presidential election cycles after working on prominent Republican campaigns.
On Tuesday, the Deadline: White House host set her sights on House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy of California and Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia.
Greene—a prominent conspiracy theorist—repeatedly compared pandemic precautions to the Holocaust.
On the Christian Broadcasting Network this past Friday, Greene said of unvaccinated lawmakers being told to wear masks in the Capitol:
"You know, we can look back at a time in history where people were told to wear a gold star, and they were definitely treated like second-class citizens, so much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany. And this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi is talking about."
She only doubled down on Twitter this past Tuesday.

It wasn't until the third or fourth time Greene made the comparison that McCarthy, who's largely capitulated to Greene's belligerent antics in Congress, issued a rare rebuke.

McCarthy's tweet linked to a lengthy statement, but Wallace was so over it.

Wallace tried to read the statement short, but couldn't bring herself to finish, saying:
"I'm not going to read the rest of this. Blah, blah blah. It came five days late. That's all you need to know."
People shared her exasperation.

It's unclear whether McCarthy will take concrete action to expel Greene from Congress or otherwise sanction her, now that she's amplified tweets referring to him with expletives.
