Congressman Steve King (R-IA) was stripped of his committee assignments and admonished by leading members of his party earlier this year for defending white supremacy.
While one might assume the embattled Representative would be more measured in his public comments going forward, but King doesn’t seem concerned with meeting those expectations.
The Congressman posted a meme to his Facebook page featuring the red states and blue states assembling to punch each other. The meme read:
“Folks keep talking about another Civil War. One side has about 8 trillion bullets while the other side doesn’t know which bathroom to use.”
Rhetoric like this only exacerbates the partisanship rampant within the United States.
Many people want King to face punishment.
King should be censured by Congress (again).

He needs to be censured. And removed next election.
He's learned nothing from having his committee positions stripped.

I guess when you have nothing assigned to you, you act like a 5-yr old and send out a call-to-arms like this. If "Scumbag of the Decade" has to be shared, I'm sure @realDonaldTrump won't mind if it's with @SteveKingIA. A long line of great Steves, Bannon, Miller, Wynn, Hyde, etc.

Agreed. He has violated said responsibilities time and time again. Kick the the bum out of Washington…all the way back to his 1950's image of a nice white America.

Not to mention, the meme’s logic is flawed.
