After photos emerged of Ivanka Trump—daughter and advisor to President Donald Trump—rubbing shoulders with world leaders at last week’s G20 summit, Americans questioned what qualifications Ms. Trump had to be discussing policy in such momentous circumstances.
Chief among those Americans was Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who soon called out Ms. Trump on Twitter.
It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification.
It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the world moves on.
The US needs our President working the G20. Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn’t hurt either. https://t.co/KCZMXJ8FD9

“It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification,” Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez said.
“It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the world moves on. The US needs our President working the G20. Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn’t hurt either.”
It wasn’t long until the now-former White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, used her last official day at work to snap back at Ocasio-Cortez.
Phoning it in @AOC is wasting your time on Twitter while destroying jobs in NY. @realDonaldTrump & @IvankaTrump actually created millions of new jobs and continue to make the US stronger on the global stage but thank you for reminding Americans everyday why they elected Trump. https://t.co/uGN4GXgAsC

Considering that Huckabee Sanders hadn’t held a White House Press Briefing in over 100 days (the press briefings had been a daily affair for decades), many thought it was absurd that she’d accuse Ocasio-Cortez of “phoning it in.”
Sarah, you phoned it in for months by refusing to do your job and not hold a daily briefing. Plus you admitted to Robert Mueller that you lied to the American Public. These are not things to be proud of.

Phoning it in? You have the audacity to talk about phoning it in?
First, you have ZERO moral authority. You bold faced lies to the American people every time you stepped up to the mic.
Second, let us recall you did not hold daily briefings because you were scared of press.

The roasting didn’t stop there.
thank god u r leaving the White House – may we never hear ur voice again – and leave AOC alone – she's got all the things u lack – mostly courage and moral clarity – u sold ur soul Sarah – now u gotta live with that

You missed the point…Ivanka should not be acting …what, ambassador? WH council…..what? She doesnt belong on the international stage Nepotism

I thought you were going to give up lying…

She earns her salary. You, on the other hand, are a resolute liar who really ought to fade into oblivion. You president's minder made us look like the laughingstock we are. Now hurry off, or speak before a Congressional committee under oath.

What did Ivanka do to create millions of jobs in America?
Like @AOC said, being daddy's girl isn't a job qualification. It's sad and pathetic that Ivanka is attending the G20 summit that is only meant for heads of state.

Sarah Sanders’s tenure as press secretary may have come to an end, but it looks like her stances and willingness to lie won’t be going anywhere soon.
