As a growing number of Democratic politicians throw support behind Medicare for All and tax hikes for America's top earners, Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson is demonizing them.
In an interview on Fox Business, Robertson singled out Presidential candidate and Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) for her support of government funded healthcare, paid for in part by significant tax increases for the rich.
Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson went on Fox Business today and said we don't need healthcare because God gives us… https://t.co/vNHj1jB83N— jordan (@jordan) 1549395758.0
His reasoning was stunning.
"Kamala, I already have healthcare. It's given to me by God. Eternal healthcare. I'm guaranteed to be raised from the dead...I have eternal healthcare and it's free. Doctors can give you a little temporary reprieve, but they cannot save you from physical death."
When host Neil Cavuto asked if Robertson was dismissing that people "get sick on Earth" and need healthcare, Robertson stood firm.
"I didn't have healthcare for 50 years...I never needed it for 50 years, so there you go."
Twitter users were stunned.

Many pointed out the cavernous holes in his logic.

Let's hope God helps Robertson the next time he's under the weather, though we have a hunch that he has healthcare...just in case.
