Republicans Think Sharing This Video of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Dancing on a Rooftop in College Is a Sick Burn--Well, It Backfired Spectacularly

That's all you got?

In yet another attempt to demonize Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Republican conspiracy theorists shared a video circulated by Dan Jordan of the newly-sworn in representative dancing in her college days.

The video was shared by a perpetrator of the QAnon conspiracy theory as an attempt to show "commie know-it-all" Ocasio-Cortez acting like the "clueless nitwit she is." It incorrectly stated that the video was from Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez's high school days, when it was actually a promotional video she took part in with other students for her alma mater Boston University (whose emblem is clearly visible across her shirt).

The edited video—which shows Ocasio-Cortez on a roof jamming a la The Breakfast Club—only made her even more endearing to Twitter.

Some quickly began reaching to justify resurfacing the video.

But it was too late—and even exacerbated the already embarrassing move.

It wasn't long before people started pointing out the hypocrisy.

Soon, users were sharing resurfaced photos of some of the Republican party's superstars.

Many pointed out what Brett Kavanaugh was reported to do in high school before still being confirmed to the Supreme Court.

Looks like yet another attempt to "own the libs" failed miserably.
