Republican North Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham continued his unquestioning loyalty to President Donald Trump by defending the President for urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate 2020 Presidential candidate, Vice President Joe Biden.
“I don’t mind the President bringing up that ‘Maybe the [Ukrainian prosecutor] was fired because of a conflict of interest,'” Graham said to reporters.
One reporter asked, “How is it not inappropriate that the President asked the President of another country to look into a political rival who’s running for an election, possibly against him if he wins the primary next year?”
“I don’t know what you looked at. I think it’s very appropriate for the President of the United States to suggest that you’ve got a corruption problem and this prosecutor that was fired, maybe it was because he was corrupt. Or maybe it was because he was looking into something close to America here.”

Graham is repeating a baseless claim that, as Vice President, Joe Biden facilitated the removal of Ukraine’s top prosecutor because he was investigating Burisma Holdings, an energy company for which Biden’s son Hunter served as a board member.
Numerous fact checkers have called out the baselessness of the allegation against Biden, from CNN fact checker Daniel Dale to Fox News host Shepard Smith.
No evidence Biden’s son was under investigation. No evidence Biden mentioned the investigation. No hard proof the investigation was even active.

Fact check: The Ukrainian investigator was NOT investigating Biden, his son, or the Ukrainian company he was involved with. https://t.co/w4ThV6Ndx0

Steve, You really need to get your head out of far right media bubble. Fact check and RESEARCH.
Even Foxnews trying to tell you.

Sadly, Graham’s spinelessness surprised no one.
The cockroaches are scrambling for the right words to hide trump's crimes under.

My question for Lindsey Graham: would it have been appropriate then for President Obama to personally ask Loretta Lynch to, say, look into wrongdoing by Trump University?

Don’t you just kind of feel like we’re nearing the point where Lindsey Graham abruptly shape-shifts into the form of a mouse and just goes running into a drain pipe? https://t.co/Na5hBxWTCk
