Theres over 190 recognized countries in the world. That stat means absolutely nothing. Its not even average and it has no barring on the actual law in place or its usage.

But were quickly reminded of the point of a fact check.
The stat means trump lied when he said us was only one who offers it.

That’s not the point. The point is that Trump lied and/or is uninformed when he said the US is the only country that allows birthright citizenship.

Others brought up Trump’s other claim about an executive order overriding the Constitution.
More interesting is the fact that the Republican President believes the POTUS can nullify parts of the constitution by executive order. This new tool should come in handy for the next Democratic President.

Fox News Research offered an answer for that as well.
Constitutional Amendment
-Requires
•2/3 majority in House, Senate
•Ratified by 3/4 of statesOR
•Constitutional Convention called by 2/3 of state legislatures, amendments approved by 3/4 of states
•Last Amendment in 1992 (Bars Congressional pay raises in current session)

Whether Trump decides to go ahead with his attempt to override the Constitution with an executive order remains to be seen.
