President Donald Trump did not show up for work Wednesday morning, sparking a wave of jokes and memes on social media.

Trump's tardiness was reported by NBC's Hans Nichols. His colleague Ken Dilanian wrote that Trump was "likely watching TV in the residence all morning."

This is known as Trump's "executive time."

Later on, Dilanian said Trump "rolled into the office around noon."

If Trump has time to watch TV, the Twitterverse said, he has time to be president... and to face justice for the felonies in which he was recently implicated.

So much for that stamina he boasted about during the campaign.

Remember when Trump took an eight-car motorcade to cross one street? That was only a week ago.

Wednesday has certainly been a lousy day for the 45th president, as his former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in federal prison for his role in violating campaign finance laws in 2016 at the behest of Trump.

Cohen also confessed to lying to Special Counsel Robert Mueller about his and Trump's role in a secret plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow during the campaign.
