In the first year of his presidency, outgoing President Donald Trump fired his national security advisor, General Michael Flynn, for lying to investigators and the Vice President about his interactions with Russian government officials.
Flynn pled guilty for these lies as part of a deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, but his trial was upended earlier this year when the Justice Department attempted to get their own case against him dismissed.
Last month, Trump pardoned Flynn and now the General is fomenting the President's lies that widespread voter fraud coordinated by Democrats tipped the election to President-elect Joe Biden.
In a shocking move for a United States General, Flynn has urged Trump to suspend the Constitution and enact martial law in order to secure another four years in the White House despite losing the 2020 election.
Flynn repeated these claims in a recent video, saying Trump to deploy the military to force a new election.

In an appearance on the right-wing media outlet Newsmax, Flynn said:
"He could order, within the swing states if he wanted to, he could take military capabilities and basically rerun an election each in those states. It's not unprecedented, I mean these people out there talk about martial law like it's something that we've never done. Martial law has been instituted 64 times, Greg. ... We have a constitutional process ... that has to be followed."
Flynn assured that he "wasn't calling for that" but emphasized the "Constitutional process" without acknowledging that the election is a Constitutional process as well—one which was followed and the results of which have only been reinforced after mountains of litigation, political pressure, and lies from the Trump administration and campaign.
