Voting Software Company Sends Brutal Letter to Rudy's Election Conspiracy 'Witness' Accusing Her of 'Defamatory' Testimony
Inside Edition/YouTube

President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has yet to stop parroting the President's lies that widespread election fraud coordinated by Democrats tipped the 2020 election to President-elect Joe Biden.

A key part of this misinformation campaign has been a series of hearings in swing state legislatures that propped up so-called witnesses who claimed to see election fraud occur.

One such witness was Mellissa Carone, whose erratic testimony before members of the Michigan state legislature went viral earlier this year.

Carone provided IT support on behalf of Dominion voting machines, a company that's been widely targeted by conservative media outlets for baseless claims that it worked with Democrats to switch Trump votes to Biden votes.

About a week after the company threatened lawsuits against Fox News and other conservative media outlets amplifying lies about voter fraud, the company has now issued a cease and desist to Carone for claims that 'have no basis in reality.'

The scathing letter, obtained by Law & Crime, reads in part:

"Without a shred of corroborating evidence, you have claimed that you witnessed several different versions of voter fraud—ranging from one story involving a van, to other accusations that votes were counted multiple times. You published these statements even though you knew all along that your attacks on Dominion have no basis in reality."

It continued:

"We write to you now because you have positioned yourself as a prominent leader of the ongoing misinformation campaign by pretending to have some sort of 'insider's knowledge' regarding Dominion's business activities, when in reality you were hired through a staffing agency for one day to clean glass on machines and complete other menial tasks."

It went on to warn that litigation regarding the claims was "imminent" and instructed Carone to preserve all communications with pro-Trump lawyers like Giuliani and Sidney Powell as evidence.

People began mocking Carone for the humiliating letter.

They were pleased to see Dominion pushing back against Carone's claims and some think there will be more consequences in store for her.

While some of Trump's supporters believe the President will end up securing another four years in office, President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be inaugurated on January 20th.
