With mere days left before the 2020 presidential election, First Lady Melania Trump is campaigning for her husband, President Donald Trump, after months of maintaining a relatively low profile on the trail.

Earlier this week, the First Lady ignited criticism online for lambasting the so-called poor example Democrats were setting for children. Melania Trump was accused of hypocrisy for her failure to acknowledge the behavior the President has displayed throughout the campaign and his four years in the White House.

The First Lady is once again facing similar backlash after statements she made at a recent Trump rally.

Watch below.

Melania Trump said:

"In a time when hate, negativity, and fear are the messages the media streams into our homes & the large tech companies are protecting political censorship, we need to remember what is really important: my husband's administration is focused on the future. The health and safety of the American people, the education and well-being of our children, the safety and security of our streets and communities, and the protection of our fundamental family values."

Shortly after, the President took the podium, where he said Congressman Adam Schiff (R-CA) had a head shaped like a watermelon.

The First Lady's condemnation of the media's "hate, negativity, and fear" fell flat, largely because of the President's unyielding attacks on journalists, fellow lawmakers, and even members of his own administration.

People didn't hesitate to remind her of this.

They knew where the real hate and fear was coming from.

The election is on November 3rd. Soon after, the "hate, negativity, and fear" that's gripped the nation for four years may somewhat subside.
