GOP Senate Candidate Caught On Tape Saying He Wants To 'Privatize Social Security'–And Democrats Just Pounced

Arizona Republican Senate candidate Blake Masters recently called for the United States to privatize Social Security.

Democrats—and most of Twitter—are incredulous.

Masters, a venture capitalist who has the backing of former Republican President Donald Trump, made his suggestion of privatizing Social Security during a primary debate hosted by FreedomWorks—a conservative advocacy organization.

"We got to cut the knot at some point though because I'll tell you what, I'm not going to receive Social Security. I'm a millennial."
"We need fresh and innovative thinking, maybe we should privatize Social Security. Private retirement accounts, get the government out of it."

You can view a clip of Masters' comments below:

Masters was one of the most conservative among Arizona's Republican primary candidates. In the August 2 primary, Masters joined other MAGA candidates like Kari Lake and Mark Finchem who won the GOP nomination and will appear on November’s midterm ballot.

Masters' suggestion to end Social Security failed to resonate with the public.

Not only has Masters boosted Trump's conspiracy theory the 2020 election was rigged, but he also claimed the gender pay gap is a "fake left-wing narrative" and publicly blamed gun violence on Black people and "gang violence."

During the same podcast appearance where he blamed Black people for gun violence, Masters also referred to Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as an "affirmative action candidate" and a "horrible pick" before her confirmation.

Space Force Commander Fired Over Email Criticizing Vance's Greenland Comments

Vice President J.D. Vance and the wider Trump administration are facing criticism now that Colonel Susan Meyers was removed from her post as commander at Greenland's Pituffik Space Base after breaking with Vance in an email she wrote following his controversial visit to the island territory.

Greenland is an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark, alongside the Faroe Islands, the only other autonomous territory within the Kingdom. Citizens of both Greenland and the Faroe Islands are full citizens of Denmark. As one of the Overseas Countries and Territories of the European Union, Greenland’s citizens are also recognized as EU citizens.

Karoline Leavitt Dragged After Making Mind-Numbing Claim About Trump's Tariffs Reversal

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is getting called out after she attempted to justify President Donald Trump's sudden reversal on his proposed tariffs, telling reporters that his actions make sense because he has a master plan to make the world bend the knee.

Trump declared a full 90-day suspension of all the “reciprocal” tariffs that took effect at midnight April 10—except for those on China—in a dramatic about-face from a president who had long championed his historically high tariff rates as permanent.
