Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene's election win to represent Georgia's 14th District in the House of Representatives was largely seen as an indicator of the strengthening influence of right-wing conspiracy theories in American government.

Before her election, Greene expressed support for the QAnon conspiracy theory, which hinges on the belief that the U.S. government is secretly controlled by a network of satanic, cannibal pedophiles whom outgoing President Donald Trump was sent to expose.

Greene called the conspiracy theory "a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out."

Since her ascent to the House of Representatives, Greene has continued to peddle outright lies about everything from mask usage to American election integrity while also vowing to introduce articles of impeachment against President-elect Joe Biden on his first full day in office.

Now, yet another unearthed Facebook post uncovered by Media Matters for America illustrates just how detached from reality Greene's views are.

Read the delusional diatribe below.

In one of the most notable lies, Greene writes:

"I am told that Nancy Pelosi tells Hillary Clinton several times a month that 'we need another school shooting' in order to persuade the public to want strict gun control."

Greene implied that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton—a private citizen—calls House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to demand more school shootings in order to strip away at the Second Amendment.

Not only is the Second Amendment untouchable without a new Constitutional amendment passed by both chambers of Congress and ratified by at least 38 states, but school shootings have sadly led to few meaningful gun law reforms at the federal level in the United States.

Even with Greene's continued falsehoods on display, people were astounded by the depths of her delusion.

There are growing calls for Greene to be removed from office.

Greene was recently suspended from Twitter for fear that her lies about the 2020 election would incite violence.
