Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow and former President Donald Trump's biggest fan, just threw Florida Governor Ron DeSantis under the bus on his streaming show, Frank Speech—The Lindell Report.
Lindell has been incredibly enthusiastic about spreading Trump's lies about the 2020 election being rigged, and it seems he's moved on to claiming the same of other elections too.
Lindell said DeSantis winning re-election was a "deviation."
"What we’re doing now is I’m going after [Miami-] Dade County and the 2022 election."
Lindell claimed DeSantis couldn't have possibly won the election by as much as he did.
"I look at deviations, everybody. That’s a deviation. I don’t believe it."
"I’m going to find out if [Miami-] Dade County—what happened there because it’s a deviation from norm."
Twitter users found the whole situation rather ridiculous.
This is far from the first time Lindell has questioned or outright denied election results and spread conspiracy theories about election equipment.
Dominion Voting Systems filed a defamation suit against Lindell in 2021 for his continued insistence Dominion rigged the 2020 election.
Dominion CEO John Poulos said of the harm done by Lindell's claims:
"Despite repeated warnings and efforts to share the facts with him, Mr. Lindell has continued to maliciously spread false claims about Dominion, each time giving empty assurances that he would come forward with overwhelming proof."
"These claims have caused irreparable harm to Dominion’s good reputation and threatened the safety of our employees and customers."
"Moreover, Mr. Lindell's lies have undermined trust in American democracy and tarnished the hard work of local election officials."
What will be the next thing Lindell latches onto and claims is rigged?
We'll all just have to wait and see.
