Freshman Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is part of the string of radical Republicans elected to office in the 117th Congress.
Boebert rose to prominence for owning a restaurant whose staff was encouraged to openly carry firearms while at work. Like her colleague, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Boebert has expressed support for the QAnon conspiracy theory, which hinges on the belief that a network of satanic cannibal pedophiles secretly controls the United States government.
In case her constituents weren't clear about Boebert's obsession with guns, a hastily assembled display in Boebert's zoom background during a House committee meeting this week made that perfectly clear.
Boebert—who tweeted the location of lawmakers during the Capitol riots last month—railed against the subsequent use of metal detectors for lawmakers entering the Capitol.
But it was the weaponry on her mantle that made a far greater impression.
The haphazard display of firearms was criticized on Twitter.

If that weren't enough, the gun fanatic admitted her weapons were ready for use, making the storage even more unsafe for a so-called "responsible" gun owner.
Who says this is storage? These are ready for use. https://t.co/y9fxckjcGl— Lauren Boebert (@Lauren Boebert) 1613669505.0
