Right wing activist Laura Loomer became notable in conservative circles after declaring herself a journalist and falsely reporting conspiracy theories as fact.

She's celebrated the deaths of undocumented migrants, and called Islam a "cancer on society" and said that it infects countries "like AIDS."

Her Islamophobic extremism and hatred for immigrants got her banned from Twitter (and Facebook, PayPal, Uber, Lyft and Youtube), but Loomer still enjoys a large following on the social media outlet Parler, which claims to be a safe haven for conservatives in the face of so-called suppression by mainstream social media outlets.

Earlier this year, Loomer won the Republican primary to represent Florida's 21st Congressional District, complete with congratulations from outgoing President Donald Trump. She went on to lose her election by 20 points.

Predictably, Loomer wholeheartedly supports Trump's denial of reality and refusal to concede the 2020 election to President-elect Joe Biden, who defeated Trump and earned 306 electoral votes.

Trump's efforts to overturn the election—including dozens of lawsuits, pressure on GOP state legislatures, and massive disinformaton—have all failed.

On Parler, Loomer urged Trump to double down on his delusion by refusing to leave the White House on Inauguration Day, January 20th.

A physical refusal to vacate the White House would be unprecedented for an American President—but even Trump's critics hope he follows her advice.

But for very different reasons.

Though Trump has remained steadfast in his refusal to acknowledge the results, few expect this obstinance to culminate in his physical removal from the White House, but as the Trump era comes to its final weeks, no development can be completely ruled out.

The Biden campaign hasn't dismissed the prospect of physical removal, telling reporters last month of Trump's refusal to concede:

"[T]he American people will decide this election. And the United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House."

In 2018, Loomer handcuffed herself to the headquarters of Twitter in a bizarre protest of her removal from the platform.

Some said this made her more than qualified to advise Trump on similar futile efforts.

President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris will be inaugurated on January 20th, whether Trump is present or not.
