Tucker Featured Graphic Calling GOP Senator a ‘Little Piece of S**t’ as He Appeared on His Show—and People Are So Here for It
Fox News

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) was one of the foremost Senators supporting former President Donald Trump's lies that Democrats orchestrated widespread election fraud to deliver now-President Joe Biden a false victory in the 2020 election.

Hawley infamously raised his fist in solidarity with pro-Trump demonstrators outside the Capitol as he arrived for the January 6 joint congressional session to certify Biden's victory. That day, Hawley followed through on his vow to object to certified electoral votes in hopes of throwing out millions of votes from states Trump lost.

That day, even after pro-Trump extremists stormed the U.S. Capitol in a deadly failed insurrection, Hawley continued to legitimize election lies by pursuing his electoral vote objections.

It wasn't long before publishing giant Simon & Schuster canceled Hawley's upcoming book, which prompted the Senator to rail against cancel culture.

Since then, Hawley's tweeted to his 600+ thousand followers, written op-eds, and broadcast to millions of Fox News viewers to raise awareness about his supposed lack of a platform.

Meanwhile, Hawley's critics say his support for the election lies that led to the Capitol siege border on treason, and Hawley has faced calls from numerous colleagues to resign.

Retired Army Lieutenant General Russel Honoré offered one of the most biting criticisms, tweeting of Hawley:

"This little peace [sic] of shi*t with his @Yale law degree should be run out of DC and Disbarred"

When Hawley appeared on far-right Tucker Carlson's show soon after, they used Honoré's words in the chyron directly under Hawley's face.

It resulted in something other than the desired effect.

The prominent display of Honoré's rebuke for the interview was unintentionally hilarious.

People praised Honoré for the unequivocal takedown.

Honoré has since deleted the tweet after Carlson's broadcast.
