Is SNL on Tonight? 2/10/18
NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley looks on while smoking a cigar during the Julius Erving Golf Classic at The ACE Club on September 11, 2017 in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.

It may be Saturday, but unfortunately, there will be no SNL tonight.

SNL will be taking a three-week break for the Winter Olympics. The show will return March 3. Basketball icon Charles Barkley will host with musical guest Migos.

Barkley Has Hosted Three Times Before

March 3rd will mark Barkley's fourth time hosting. The NBA star previously hosted on September 25, 1993, January 9, 2010, and January 7, 2012. It may feel like Barkley's been on the show more than that, though, as Kenan Thompson has impersonated him a handful of times.

Barkley, a retired professional basketball player, is currently an analyst on Inside the NBA. In 1984, he was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers as part of the NBA Draft. He was selected to the All-NBA First Team five times.

In 2016, Rolling Stone named Barkley the 7th funniest athlete to host SNL behind LeBron James, Derek Jeter, The Rock, Joe Montana, Michael Jordan and Peyton Manning. In March, he plans on moving up a few notches in that ranking.

Migos Will Perform on SNL March 3

Migos, who can now say they have had two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, will be the musical guest on March 3. The trio took to Instagram on Sunday, February 4, to make their announcement. They captioned the Instagram photo, "SNL 3.3. Musical Guest. C U L T U R E I I TAKING OVER @nbcsnl MARCH 3RD."

"Culture II" was initially set to be released last October. It wasn't officially released, however, until January 28. According to XXL, the group already has a number of gigs lined up for 2018, including the 2018 Panorama Festival, where they will headline the show along with The Weeknd, 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, 2018 Broccoli City Festival, 2018 Rolling Loud in Miami, and more.

The hip-hop trio, composed of Quavo, Offset and Takeoff, is originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia. They released their debut single, "Versace," taken from their mixtape, in 2013. In July 2015, the group released their debut album, Yung Rich Nation, through Quality Control Music and 300 Entertainment. Their album Culture came out January 2017, about one year before the release of Culture II.
