A recent Twitter post from @owenawhaley pointed out a pronounced difference in the number of criminal indictments in the administrations of 3 Republican and 3 Democratic presidential administrations.
The difference was striking—317 indictments among Presidents Trump, Nixon and Reagan, as compared to only 3 among Presidents Obama, Carter and Clinton.
While many people are aware of the criminal cases, particularly under Trump, seeing the difference spelled out in these terms served as a stark contrast.
Some folks chimed in to highlight the guilty verdicts of those close to our current President. It's a lot.
There's another issue on which the two parties differ greatly as well.
While many may believe that both parties deal with corruption, there really is just no contest when it comes to comparing the criminality of the two parties when in power.
I think we can safely retire the "both parties do it" trope, k thx.
