North Dakota Republican Senator Kevin Cramer spoke truthfully on Tuesday about his party's priorities.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday after a private Republican Caucus lunch focused on a bipartisan gun control deal, Cramer stated:
"I think we are more interested in red waves than we are in red flags quite honestly as Republicans..."
Cramer's comments come less than a month after a string of mass shootings.
But is the GOP's unwavering support of gun sales the best strategy for 2022 or will voters who overwhelmingly support gun control vote accordingly?
Poll after poll indicates voters in the United states support a variety of gun control measures the GOP is blocking on behalf of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and their gun manufacturer donors.
Response to his comment was less than favorable.
Are gun profits over people, especially children, the way to go this year?
They'll find out for certain in November.
