Eric Trump Just Tried to Slam Biden for Going on a Bike Ride—It Did Not Go Well
Fox News

President Joe Biden isn't shy about his fondness for bicycling. He even answered questions from the press while riding a bicycle during the 2020 campaign. Biden has repeatedly faced criticism from conservatives for riding a bike, most recently while visiting family in his home state of Delaware as Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine continues.

Former President Donald Trump's son, Eric Trump, railed against Biden's bike ride amidst all the "horribleness" going on in the world.

Watch below.

Eric Trump said:

"Look at that picture of him on the bike, right? I mean, here you have Biden riding this beach cruiser. It's got this big, kind of ridiculous reflector on the front of it and it may as well have had a little horn on there. And he's riding slowly, he's probably going to get ice cream. Literally in a world where you almost have World War III ... and the guy's literally riding a beach cruiser around the place."

He added:

"My father would be giving speeches in front of F-35s, talking about how he’s building the greatest military the world has ever seen. ... Believe me, that was sending a true message of strength. ... When you see a guy riding a beach cruiser in the middle of the day, this is the Commander in Chief of the United States of America. I mean, what message does that send the world that is literally in the middle of, just, horribleness?"

Like Biden, Trump had his own forms of recreation, usually involving golf. Despite assurances that he wouldn't have time to golf as President, Trump golfed or visited golf clubs nearly 300 times, according to Trump Golf Count. Seismic global and domestic events—such as the COVID-19 pandemic, devastating hurricanes, and a national emergency he himself declared—weren't enough to keep him off the course.

Social media users hadn't forgotten this amid Eric Trump's diatribe.

His comments were widely dismissed.

Many of Trump's golf excursion were to his own resorts, effectively funneling security costs paid by American taxpayers into the Trump Organization.
