Unfortunately, Riverdale fans are going to have to wait one more week for the CW drama to return.

The show will return Wednesday, March 7, at 8 pm ET/PT with an episode titled Chapter 27: The Hills Have Eyes". The synopsis for the episode reads, "When Hiram (Mark Consuelos) suggests that Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Archie (KJ Apa) head up to their lake house for the weekend, Veronica decides to invite Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) to join them. Determined to uncover Hiram’s plans for Riverdale, Jughead uses his time at the lake house to press Veronica about what she may know. Back in Riverdale, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) makes a surprising connection with an unlikely friend, while Josie (Ashleigh Murray) lands in hot water after revealing a secret to Kevin (Casey Cott). Skeet Ulrich also stars.”

It's been one month since we've seen our favorite Riverdale residents. The last episode was Chapter Twenty-Six: The Tell-Tale Heart", directed by The Vampire Diaries creator Julie Plec. Read on for the episode recap:

Betty is a mess from the previous episode's death; particularly after placing the deceased in an old sewer pipe in the woods. She has an even harder time at school when news about a body being discovered begins to circulate. Luckily, the discovered body was Papa Poutine's. Only in Riverdale could you mistake one body for another.

Archie spends time with a supposed FBI agent dressed in a trench coat and fedora. The man interrogates him about Papa Poutine's death, and Archie continues to play dumb, saying Hiram had nothing to do with it. In the end, Archie confesses to Lodge that the FBI tried to get him to become a spy.

When Betty later goes back to check on the dead man (bad idea), his cell phone rings and she takes it. When she gets home, she scours through his texts and learns that the guy was Chic's drug dealer. Not a client.

Betty, on the brink of losing it, ends up telling Jughead everything that happened. It's a bit of a relief for him, because he was worried that his sexual performance was what was throwing Betty out of whack. Jughead then helps Betty get rid of the guy's car, which has been outside her house for days.

As all this unravels, Lodges picks up Archie. He's taken to a terrifying location that screams death. Hermione, fortunately, reveals to Archie that the FBI Agent wasn't a real FBI agent, but someone she hired to test Archie's loyalty. And, lucky for him, he passed the test.
