Joseph Duggar is a married man!

As the seventh child of Jim-Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, Joseph Duggar has had the spotlight on him this season on TLC's Counting On. In the Duggar franchise's latest reality storyline, the family’s children experience life milestones. Least of which is Joseph Duggar’s wedding with Kendra Caldwell!

After a brief courtship that began in March, Joseph Duggar proposed to family friend Kendra Caldwell in May of 2017. The surprise proposal took place at his sister, Joy-Anna’s wedding nuptials. Following, Kendra, 19 and Joseph Duggar, 23 had a beautiful fall wedding in September 2017. Read on for all the details on the wedding, the honeymoon, and a special, new addition to the Duggar family.

The Dress

For the big day, Kendra wore a detailed Renee Miller jeweled top and princess skirt. The dress had short sleeves and a modest neckline. Kendra wore her hair curled and half up, with a sheer veil that came down to her waist.

The groomsmen wore blush-colored ties with navy suits. While Joseph Duggar added a vest to complete his wedding look.

The wedding embraced a classic and romantic feel with dozens of lit candles and white floral arrangements. The wedding colors also included burgundy and pale yellow alongside the navy and blush tones.

The Rehearsal

Though they had a big day ahead, the couple celebrated their rehearsal the night before their wedding. First dining on Mexican food and finishing the meal with ice cream for dessert.

The Ceremony

On September 8th, 2017 Kendra and Joseph Duggar were married. They had a 22-person wedding party made up of loving family.

Joseph Duggar has his brother Josiah serve as his best man. The other Duggar brothers, John David, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James and Justin, served as groomsmen.

Kendra had her sister Lauren serve as maid of honor. In addition, Kendra had ten bridesmaids! The party included the Duggar sisters Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joy, Johannah and Jennifer, as well as Kendra’s mom, Christina.

As part of the ceremony, Kendra and Joe lit the unity candle. Holding a candle each, the two placed their flames together to light a single candle representing their union.

During the first kiss, flower petals showered down on the newlyweds.

After the ceremony the pair held a reception at the church’s gym. The theme of the reception was festive and lighthearted. The newlyweds served coffee, cupcakes, and salty snacks.

The Honeymoon

From the reception, Kendra and Joseph Duggar hopped into a red pickup truck to leave the wedding in style. In addition, the truck had been spray-painted and decorated by the pair’s friends and family. As a result, the truck sported festive, sprayed-on greetings like, “Finally hitched.”

Kendra and Joseph Duggar will celebrate their wedding with a honeymoon in Greece. There, they will explore Greek culture and cuisine. In addition, they will get active by participating in sports like paddle boarding and parasailing. The island of Santorini is the perfect spot for Kendra and Joseph’s romantic getaway.

Finally, after a whirlwind courtship, proposal, wedding, and honeymoon, Joseph and Kendra Duggar are expecting! The pair is now settled back home in Arkansas and ready to start their family by adding one more to the Duggar clan. We can’t wait to hear more about their baby!
