Arie and Lauren B. seem to have great chemistry, but could Lauren's past keep the two from being together?

Before The Bachelor, Lauren was engaged to hockey player Chris Crane. The two were supposed to marry on July 8, 2017—information which comes from the former couple's still-active Crate & Barrell wedding registry.

According to Reality Steve, Lauren and her ex-fiancé became engaged in July of 2016. She then broke off the engagement in December 2016. It's unclear why.

As Steve aptly points out, the "good thing" in this situation is that the couple was separated for a full year before anything happened between Lauren and Arie.

Chris Crane, who grew up learning to play hockey in Virginia Beach, spent three years at Ohio State. In 2010, he was selected by the San Jose Sharks in the 7th round of the NHL draft. He also played for the Orlando Solar Bears, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

In his interview with the outlet, Crane said, “It’s been a very blessed road [since being drafted]. I can’t say thanks enough.’’

Most of Crane's pictures either feature his family or him playing hockey. Crane appears to be single, since he hasn't posted any pictures lately with a special someone.

How Far Does Lauren Get with Arie?

Last week, Reality Steve revealed a HUGE SPOILER about this season's winner. In a nutshell, Arie will choose Becca Kufrin as the winner. However, since proposing to her, Arie has reportedly dumped Becca and is believed to be dating Lauren.

Steve's article gives a detailed synopsis of exactly how he arrived at this information. Long story short, just days after the premiere, he heard that Arie had called Lauren (which was strange... as Arie had just proposed to Becca).

Then, last Tuesday, Steve was told directly by a source that "Arie broke up with Becca and [ABC was] heading to Virginia to film." Someone (claiming they are a neighbor of Lauren) subsequently shared a photo of two black cars in her parents' driveway. The photo has since been taken down.

Elite Daily also suggests that the producers are dropping hints at audiences that point to Lauren ultimately ending up with Arie. Last week, Lauren admitted that her biggest fear is her falling for Arie and him choosing someone else. Arie also said more than once that his fear is choosing the wrong person.
