After an abysmal showing on Super Tuesday, multibillionaire former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg ended his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for President, endorsing former Vice President Joe Biden.

Bloomberg was heavily criticized after deciding to run, because many felt his time and resources would be better spent on more viable candidates.

With his candidacy in the rear view mirror, Bloomberg signaled with a clip from Star Wars that he's ready to do just that.

It started in response to a Twitter screed from President Donald Trump—who refers to Bloomberg as "Mini Mike."

Bloomberg's response promised that, for Trump, the worst was yet to come.

The mayor posted a clip from the final battle of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader in Star Wars IV: A New Hope.

Vader is ultimately victorious in the duel, but Obi-Wan gives a final, apt warning:

"You can't win, Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."

With an absurd level of wealth at approximately $60 billion, Bloomberg could unlock a war chest of political ads, opposition research, and other forms to harm Donald Trump in a general election.

People took the clip as a sign of things to come.

The Democratic primary isn't over yet, and November is getting nearer.
