It's been over a month since President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election to President-elect Joe Biden, but he still refuses to concede.

Since November 9, when it was clear that Biden would earn more than the 270 electoral votes required to take the White House, Trump has deployed dozens of legal cases, demanded multiple recounts across a number of swing states, and fired off countless lie-ridden tweets falsely insisting that widespread voter fraud coordinated by Democrats tipped the election to Biden.

These efforts have done nothing to vindicate Trump's assertions that he is the actual winner of the presidential election. In fact, these =only resulted in more losses for Trump. The biggest loss so far came on Tuesday, when electors across the country met to cast their votes.

As expected, Biden earned 306 electoral votes to Trump's 232—a total that will be certified by the House and Senate on January 6.

CNN host Brianna Keilar—whose unequivocal rebukes of Trump and his talking points have made waves before—laid out just how many times the President has lost the election.

Keilar said:

"The President could have lost this election only once, but because of his penchant for self-sabotage, he keeps losing it over and over again."

She continued:

"He lost the Electoral College ― he lost it on November 7th and then confirmed it again yesterday. He lost the popular vote on election night. ... He's lost multiple recounts in two states. In Georgia, he lost one that he requested and another that was done voluntarily by the state. In Wisconsin, he lost a recount where Biden actually gained votes."

She still wasn't done.

"He's lost nearly 50 lawsuits that he or his allies have filed, baselessly claiming that the election should be overturned or votes should be tossed out because of widespread fraud."

Keilar perfectly summed up Trump's four years and his subsequent losses with a quote from his own memoir, The Art of the Deal:

"You can't con people, at least not for long. You can create excitement, you can do wonderful promotion and get all kinds of press, and you can throw in a little hyperbole. But if you don't deliver the goods, people will eventually catch on."

People echoed Keilar's assertion: the election is over and Trump lost.

With Trump losing so repetitively, Election Day is feeling more and more like Groundhog Day.

Despite Trump's protests, President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be inaugurated on January 20th.
