How Old Is Bekah M. On 'The Bachelor'?

Bekah M. is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about contestants on this season of The Bachelor. During last week's premiere, her age was a point of interest, as was her entrance to the mansion in a '65 cherry red Mustang.

But who exactly is Bekah Martinez? And how old is she, really? Here's everything you should know about her:

She Is 22

Bekah's age wasn't listed on TV during last week's premiere, and it's not even part of her ABC bio.

The mystery, however, is over. The Bachelor contestant is 22. In February 2016, she posted a photo to Instagram from her 21st birthday.

Arie Luyendyk Jr., meanwhile, is 36. Bekah's age was brought up multiple times during last week's show. Not only were hundreds of Twitter users asking how old she was, but the contestants themselves couldn't stop mentioning it. And it seems that the obsession with Bekah's age isn't about to go away anytime soon. In previews for the rest of the season, we overhear one girl say, "I wonder if her age is going to be a deal breaker."

Chelsea, another contestant, comments, "I think she is reluctant to tell Arie how old she is."

She Was Recently Accepted to UC Irvine to Major in Art

According to Reality Steve, Bekah was recently accepted to US Irvine to major in art. It's unclear if she plans to attend school once she's done with the show.

Bekah grew up in Fresno, California, and is a big fan of the outdoors. She currently lives in LA, where she works as a nanny. When she isn't busy looking after little ones, you can often find her rock climbing. And based on her Instagram, it seems Bekah does some modeling in her spare time, as well.

The 22-year-old's short pixie cut is grabbing a lot of attention this season, but her hair wasn't always short. Instagram photos from December 2016 show Bekah rocking shoulder-length, bleached blonde hair. Before that, her hair was brunette, but longer than it is now.

In her ABC bio, Bekah was asked what her guilty pleasure is. She said, "Binge-watching reality TV and eating bags of popcorn in place of meals." Asked where she sees herself in five years, she said, "Teaching art or owning an art studio for children, hopefully married and planning to have babies!"
