Antonia Strickland's long and complicated journey with weight loss will be documented on a new episode of TLC's My 600-lb Life.

Impressively, the 25-year-old was able to lose 190 pounds. Her extra skin, however, left her feeling gross, and with low-self esteem. On tonight's episode of the show, Antonia share with TLC, "I feel ashamed of my body. I've battled this beast for so long. I need to move on with my life."

Antonia studied Spanish education at the University of Delaware. She was the Chapter Leader and Founder for the Students for Education Reform, according to her LinkedIn. After graduating, she went on to work at Teach for America for two years. Now, Antonia works as a high school Spanish teacher in the Colonial School District.

Based on recent Facebook posts, Antonia is looking forward to sharing her journey with viewers tonight. On Wednesday, she took to Facebook to write, "Want to do something fun while watching commercials? Search #skintight on Twitter."

Fans of the show, and of Antonia, have vocalized their support for her. One Facebook user wrote, "I watched your journey on TLC and all I have to say is you are brave and fearless! Congratulations on the results of a long and difficult journey! Impressive!!!!! I'm so happy for you!" Another commented, "Already crying! You're so beautiful inside and out! Thank you for sharing your story and teaching our youth! Such an inspiration!"

People Have Taken to Twitter to Voice Negative Opinions About Her Boyfriend

When she was 22, Antonia decided to undergo weight loss surgery. Three months later, she met her boyfriend, Steve. She shares with TLC, "I told him, ‘You’re going to see me lose a lot of weight, I just had weight loss surgery, you’re going to see me not eat much,’ and he was completely supportive."

After the episode premiered, viewers took to Twitter to vocalize their negtative opinions of Steve. Many even advised her to dump him. "Antonia! Please break up with your asshole boyfriend, you deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.#skintight"

Antonia has commented on Steve's portrayal on Facebook. On Wednesday, she wrote, "They really spun Steve to look like a douchebag. Oh my god!" According to social media, the two are till together.
