Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois is one of the few GOP lawmakers to fully condemn former President Donald Trump and the election lies that prompted a deadly failed insurrection against the United States Capitol.

As a result, Kinzinger is persona non grata in the Republican party. He was rejected by family members for his anti-Trump stance and excoriated by far-right members of Congress like Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia.

And, of course, his perceived disloyalty was met with insults from the former President, who called Kinzinger a "loser" in a recent press release.

In an appearance on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360, Kinzinger offered Trump a painful reminder.

Watch below.

Kinzinger said of Trump:

"I've never lost an election. He has. He's the only loser in that mix, and we're trying to grab onto him as if he's somehow the ticket to the future, and he is instead obsessed with the fact that he lost again at something."

He then addressed Trump directly:

"He's down there obsessing about the fact that he's a loser. I'm sorry you're a loser. But you lost."

Not only did Kinzinger use Trump's favorite insult against him, but he also reminded Trump that—despite the election fantasies the former President has tried so hard to push—he lost the 2020 election.

People cheered at the reminder.

Trump supporters were predictably upset.

Trump himself has yet to respond.
